The real nasty!
Dipping tobacco is one of those "bad" things that I have never wanted to try. I usually did everything I was told not to do (just like everyone else)but dipping never aroused my curiosity. I think it was mainly the fact that an old ex's dad did it alot and every time I talked to him you could just smell then nasty tobacco right out of his mouth. And also - the whole spitcup deal is one of the grosest things I've ever seen. Eeeeew!

Back to some bloggin, I do apologize for the absence of content here. Work has been hell (in a good way, I got a job!) And had to get better from last weekend COACHELLA fiasco! One hell of a good time I've had. (upload pics in a bit).
SO this supernews episode killed me! ...
it touches base on the current economical status, but I guarantee you its' not like the other parodies you've been watching.
Not sure I've I posted some of the other videos included already, but it's not a bad thing to watch again.

Dam Funk Interview
Alright, another Stones Throw artist that deserves mad respect. This guys is bringing back the funk James Brown/Rick James style ... but dipped in new millenium pixie dust.
CLASS IS IN SESSION! PAY ATTENTION.
Known as Los Angeles' "Ambassador of Boogie Funk," dãm-funk represents the citizens of the Funkmosphere.Headquartered in the Culver City section of L.A., dãm (pronounced: 'Dame' as in Damon) spent the last few years cultivating a musical renaissance rooted in the early-'80s styles known as Boogie, Modern Soul and Electro-Funk.

Las Muertas De Juarez (dead women of juarez)

As we hear the increasingly sharp criticism of the drug traffic in the boarder city of Juarez, Mexico, the real issue in my eyes is being ignored. I agree that drug violence on the boarder is a problem but what is really going on in Juarez?
Since they have been counting in the early 90's, hundreds of young women in Juarez have gone missing or have turned up dead. Some of the dead women that where actually found are burnt and dressed in another woman's clothes. Some police are in on it because they try to convince the victim's families that Any body they find is their family member. The victims are easy to dismiss because they are almost all impoverished. Adding to the problem, Mexican government estimates 1.3 million residents, but the real population may be closer to 2 million. How can you miss a thousand people if they "weren't there" in the first place.
This is obviously a huge sex-trafficking ring. I never wanted to believe that this happens in modern times but the slave trade is alive and well - on the U.S. boarder. Why is this issue ignored? Why are drugs more important than women in the Administrations eyes? While no doubt they are connected, the focus away from femicide makes me realize that women's rights still have a long ways to go. Activists have been met with coordinated violence and terrorism. Does America not care about women or is it that they just don't know? I would like to think that is a hopeful ignorance - but one we need to correct.

For sale: One life in China

Chen Xiao had pretty much given up making her own decisions and so decided to throw open her life to the whims of China's hundreds of millions of Internet users, known in China as netizens."It's your right to arrange Chen Xiao's life, and it's my obligation to serve you," read her online shop.Since December, Chen has been allowing others to decide what she will do each day, because, for the most part, last year was awful, she said.
Her hometown was hit by blizzards, her country rocked by a devastating earthquake, friends divorced and her clothing shop went bankrupt."Every time I had a plan for what I wanted my life to be like, nothing would come of it. It was very disappointing. I figured if other people came up with things for me to do, I might stumble upon something new and better."
What she stumbled upon was not only a new life but a new way to make a living. She charges about $3 an hour, and she's been asked to do almost everything from delivering pet food to caring for stray cats to taking a hot lunch to a homeless man. What surprised her the most was not so much the varied requests but being able to find happiness in the process."If somebody asks you to do something, something simple, and you do it, it can make you very happy.
You can change from a gloomy person to a very bright one. It can help give you a new sense of self-esteem," she said.So far, the most meaningful assignment she was given was attending a child's birth -- the father was a complete stranger who just wanted someone to take pictures and share the moment.

i blame our society ... all you see is sex sex sex everywhere...yet no one wants to talk about it. parents dont want their kids getting an education on it... & we've deviated away from the idea so bad that it's almost a taboo subject to talk about one of the most normal things that exist.
any way...i dont celebrate valentines day...but to all those who do...WEAR PROTECTION..unless you want a baby :)

See what drugs do?
So I am completely into Current TV at the moment. In my opinion it's the best TV I've ever seen. EVER! The coolest, dopest, most informative form of news I have ever come across. And don't let me forget ... funniest. While browsing through the website. Came across this ... Joaquin Phoenix on Letterman. The guy looks as if he took some high quality acid. Please take a look for yourself
